I had the pleasure of attending the GLL supported athletes award ceremony last night. Held at Glamorganshire Cricket ground it was a fantastic evening. The turn out was fimpresive. A big thank you to the sponsors and all the athletes who attended. It was a most memorable evening. GLL not only offers financial support but gym access, mental health support and recovery assistance.
The parents, family and coaches who I spoke to could not be more supportive. The fact that GLL and SACW can recognise the effort and time that the athletes put into their sport boosts their self belief and their confidence.
