Brynmor Williams

RUGBY PLAYER

A long-standing supporter and a vice-president of SportsAid Cymru Wales, TV commentator and guest speaker on many occasions, scrum-half Brynmor Williams played rugby union for the British Lions (NZ 1977), Wales and the Barbarians and for Cardiff, Newport and Swansea at club level. 

Brynmor is now Group Director of leading insurance company Thomas,Carrol plc.

Lynn Davies CBE, Olympic Gold Medallist (Long Jump, Tokyo, 1964) former President of UK Athletics and one of SportsAid Cymru Wales’ leading supporters over 20 years, said “To achieve in sport you have to have talent, but above all, perseverance. A vote of confidence in the shape of a SportsAid Cymru Wales grant does wonders for a young person’s commitment and dedication.”
