Matilda Quick, a Swansea Harrier was surprised to receive the Ron Jones Outstanding Achievement Award for 2025-26.
Matilda had a fantastic season last year and this is continuing into 2026. Some of her results are listed below:
25/07/2025 England Athletics - Senior and U20 Combined Events Championships Heptathlon U20 1st
10/08/2025 EAP International Combined Events Meeting Heptathlon U20 1st (6th overall)
15/06/2025 Welsh U20 Track and Field High Jump U20 1st
16/08/2025 National Athletics League Promotion FinalHigh Jump SEN 1st
She then went on to break the Welsh indoor Pentathlon event in Sheffield in January 2026 with a record of 3943 points.
