At the onset, I would like to sincerely thank your respective organisations for your kind support and sponsorship for my daughter, Anne Winston.
Your financial support along with the ability to use the amazing GLL facilities has greatly supported her development and performance this year - both on and off court, as she strives to become one of the leading emerging girls badminton player across the UK.
As 2025 nears to a close, I would like to use this email to spotlight on her top 3 achievements which couldn't have happened without your support at just 11 years old.
In Wales
- National singles champion in both Under 13 and Under 15 categories
- National runners up in Under 17 girls doubles
- Represented Welsh junior national team at the Celtic nations under 14 tournament playing against Scotland, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland. Achieved bronze
In England
- Girls singles runner up at the Under 13 Leicester Bronze tournament
- Girls singles runner up at the Under 13 SBA Oxford Bronze tournament
- Runners up in Under 16 doubles at the Bristol After Stroke charity event
