Well that's the season over for golf and what a great way to finish. 48 people played at Creigiau. The weather was great and the course and food excellent.
The SACW team who came 1st winning the Malcolm Tucker Trophy and a 4 ball at the Vale were John Owen, Darren Owen, Stephen Owen and Andy Gambles with a score of 89
Best Creigiau team winning a 4 ball were Colin & Jenny Pryce & Kelvin & Jacqui Jones with a score of 84
in 2nd place were Ken East, Mike Harmet, Andrew Howard and Clive Shilling with a score of 82
3rd were Peter Lane, Les Rhodes, Mark Merrett and Ashley Protheroe with a score of 81
NP on 10th was Suzanna and LD Denise Richards. There was no name on the mens longest drive for some reason.
We did a full raffle this time and a big thank you to those who donated prizes. An extra £150 was raised for the charity so thank you to everyone who bought a ticket.
The Wales & West Player of the year was also announced and that is Mike Heath who won by 1 point. A record is kept of those who place 1 to 10 in each competition over the year with the winner having the most points.
Thank you to everyone who has played and supported the charity and enjoy whats left of the summer.
