" It was a fantastic tournament to kickstart the new squash season for Madalena as she competed in the Welsh Junior Open Squash Championships 2024.
Having won her opening matches convincingly with 3-0 victories, including taking out the number 1 seed 3-0, Madalena progressed to the semi finals and beat the Ireland number 1, winning 3-1 to secure her place in the Final! A great achievement.
Madalena placed in Runner Up position- with another year in this age group.
The future is looking bright.
